sometimes you gotta just log off and on a few times. it should work.

The 2nd time I used it I had to keep logging in and out, it didnt work for me at first either. Try actually logging out of your profile on your xbox & make sure that you're not logged in on your computer.

because that is what I get.

I don't see why they would kill those promos, since they trying to make money off Bing, Netflix, and Movie/Music downloads. Xbox Live should have been free in the first place.
