Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Scary shyt this happened to me and my best friends father after we dropped him off to college upstate.

You don’t realize how fast 18 wheelers travel until you standing still. Almost blew me away and gave me instant paranoia.

I've had to change tires on the highway a few times, I keep a battery impact wrench in the whip with the mini floor jack though so I can be in and out as fast as possible.

My whole setup though is to set road flares down behind the car like 10 feet apart to push traffic away from the car, so you got the shoulder and part of the far lane for space flare kits are like $13 and come with a safety vest. Folks still don't pay attention but you got a better chance because people don't normally see road flares so they are likely to slow down.

shyt happens everywhere. The thing I don't understand is when someone pulls over to help and either the samaritan kills/robbed or gets killed/robbed. It's a treacherous situation, and you always call for help.

It trips me out when you get a flat on the highway and you pull over and get out the car and you can feel the highway bouncing from all the cars passing by.

Yeah, if I'm on the freeway and get a flat I'm calling AAA. :hubie:

It's different if I'm just on a regular street, then I'm fine with changing it myself, but on the freeway? Nah I'm good.

I've had my tired bust on the interstate.
I don't understand the fear. I put out my emergency triangles and get to work.
I'm not staying in a car and waiting for someone to do what I can do myself, that is why I have the full spare for this situation.

Stop fool. My two passengers would be my wife and kid. Ain't shyt they can do.

If I'm riding with my boys like I have been plenty of times (one if my boys used to street race) and we got a flat. It only take one person to kneel down, break the lugs, Jack up the car, remove the tire. Put on the spare, lower the vehicle and tighten the lugs.

If it's too cold and wet like it has been when we've been stuck in the snow changing a tire, one person falls back in case the tire explodes or the jack slips and the car falls. And if you get too tired or wet or cold you call them in to swap out. You don't all just huddle around the person working with the car. It's fukking dangerous point blank period.

If you don't believe me refer to any auto manual or go to a mechanic shop and watch them work. When they are doing things like lifting up a car with a hydraulic jack or high pressure filling a tire there isn't a dumb ass with his head next to the wheel or the car like " :dwillhuh: is it done yet?"
Chill out

There’s reason to have fear but a lot of posters here are nerds and pussies. I also change it myself but I can’t front like I don’t do that shyt fast as fukk so I can get the fukk out of there before some idiot accidentally kills me

I'm doing it fast on any road, but the fear to the point you would sit in a car and wait for someone else to do the same thing is strange to me.
I've never been more fearful than when I had to change my tire on a back 2 lane state highway at night.

Yeah I never been that fearful to sit in my car like a woman to have some other man do it for me. 2 lane highway would of definitely had me slightly shytting myself but again, I would of just done that shyt myself and just been mad careful and found the right time

Im calling AAA and getting out the way of incoming traffic im not trusting the decisions of any of these selfish drivers in a hurry to go nowhere a lot of people are idiot sheep anyway so why would I depend on dumbasses to make the right decisions? these goofs can't even keep their eyes out of their phones for 5 seconds

Some people have no sense of danger. If you ever get a flat or in an accident wait till traffic clears and go the shoulder grass well away from anything. A $60 tow is not worth your life
