what if the 3 year old had shot the 1 year old by accident or in the Idaho Wal-mart what if the 2 year old shot a complete stranger instead of his mom.

That Idaho story is amazing. The lady wasn't "irresponsible", but she left a loaded gun alone by a two-year old.

These idiots and their "gun rights" are so absurd it's beyond comprehension. They act like they might get challenged to a duel while they're out and about and need to be prepared to defend their honor.

Good point. That said should the children be tried? They should be indicted at least, right? If a 2 year old got the death penalty how would that pan out?
