Batista flopped because the WWE tried to make it look like Bryan would be in the RR after losing to Bray earlier. They build up anticipation and when Bryan wasn't entered in the RR, Batista and even Rey Mysterio (and Reigns) caught the firestorm from that. You're blaming "smarks" (when you're actually one as well) when you should be blaming the WWE for awful booking. Bryan could have been in the Royal Rumble, showed a lot of effort and gotten tossed out and the fans would have not nearly been as pissed as what the WWE allowed to happen.
Thissss is the real right there!

Reigns never got his opportunity for his momentum with the fans to boil over and receive that type of love because about time the Daniel Bryan situation popped off and the wwe gradually went to reigns a lot of the fans turned on him.

He never got his Batista or Cena moment with the fans.

Gradually? Lol bro he was injured, came back won wrestler of the year with like 6 singles matches under his belt, won the rumble and main evented Mania. Wasn't shyt gradual.

They showed their hand.

You can't do that shyt in wrestling. This ain't pop music. People will pick up on that shyt and the guy won't get over.

I will never get mad at the fans for not enjoying something. I'm sorry I just don't see how the fans can be at fault for not liking something.

Nah, Batista didn't get a great reaction when he came back on that first RAW. He never should have been a babyface when he came back.

This is the problem with a lot of marks. The refusal to accept their responsibility and admit that their wrong.

Reigns doesn't deserve a lot of the backlash he gets.

Reigns doesn't get booed because he's Roman reigns. He gets booed because marks got beef with the company because they didn't chose Daniel Bryan.

In result he catches a lot of bias hate that doesn't really have much to do with him.

Nah, If they would have did the Roman vs. HHH thing when the crowd was hot and not a year and a half later. He would have been a star. It was that simple.

He would have been over initially, but the backlash was gonna come regardless. The same smarks that turned on him in favor of Daniel Bryan, are the same ones who turned on Cena when he started going up against Angle/Jericho/HHH in 2005. They would have turned on Reigns because they would feel like he "stole" Ambrose or Rollins push. The backlash was coming no matter what

Yup. He said as much himself he knew they weren't gonna take to him as a returning hero.

Bryan could've started a riot that night he laid out Bray had he wanted to. That crowd would've done anything he asked them to

They never said Bryan was gonna in the rumble people made their own assumptions because he lost to Bray so that somehow meant well he's gotta be in the rumble then. Should they have called an audible and put him in..absolutely, but facts is they never said he was gonna be in the rumble :yeshrug:

No lie two belts Orton was legit. I enjoyed Orton's last title run.

I am a mark, but not all marks are one in the same. A lot of these marks are delusional, illogical, & self centered.

I think the wwe should get some blame for the Daniel Bryan situation, but I also think marks need to take responsibility for giving reigns hell because of something he had no hand in.

You actually described yourself here, but as far as Reigns, agreed. The WWE has completely mishandled him, through their own doing.

Nah, Batista didn't get a great reaction when he came back on that first RAW. He never should have been a babyface when he came back.

Definitely agree abut him not being a face. He truly came into his own with the whole spotlight thing as a heel, sometime after he turned on Rey Mysterio. But that was just another botch by the WWE. They never planned ahead. They were actually going for a Batista/Orton main event, and the crowd saw right through everything. The WWE themselves is the reason why Batista's last run was so bad. A feud with Del Rio, who can't draw any reaction at all without Ricardo, scarves, pyro, and lavish cars??? :mjlol::mjlol:

Nah I actually described yourself as well as many others. The reason why it flew over your head is because a lot of you marks lack self awareness. That's why it's so easy for you and many others to deny any type responsiblilty & admittance to when you're wrong about something.

Instead you point the finger at everyone else without at least taking into account that you could be potentially wrong or a part of the problem.
