30,000 Sikhs have entered trucking industry past two years. 50,000 drivers still needed.

They already did in Canada. from East to West. Trucks, Trailers, Mechanics, Truck Sales, Trailer sales, Shipping and receiving, logistics, truck washing, truck training, Truck stops, Gas stations. there literally isnt an avenue indo-canadians havent touched business wise when it comes to the trucking industry.

They tried to push into construction but the Italians made sure to push them out and send them packing.

Indians are the construction business in bc. It will happen in Ontario also eventually

Asians are extremely adaptable, very business oriented, community minded and the family is a huge cornerstone of how how they deal their affairs.

Blacks on avrerage are adaptable but that is where it stops. And although, racism hits us in a way that it doesn’t hit others. There is something to be said of us being collectively very shortsighted as a race. Immediate satisfaction and lack of forward planning and lack of dependable/reliable people in our communities.

Truckers can make upwards of 60k a year before taxes. My uncles did it for years and told me by the third year on the job you slowly start to comprehend how to navigate things. Where to book motels, how to travel long distances while staying occupied. Utilizing the time you have on weekends with your family and strategically using ur sick days and whatnot to enjoy life.

It's not that bad a job.

Community power is what drives this.
60k? I thought a lot of those dudes was making 6 figs?

That’s life looks rough you can make 60 way easier Than that

But you have to remember, what type of skill set these drivers got.

$60K for a guy with minimal education is great money.

This all breaks down to training and education.

Don't sleep on the materials side. Jews and Italians run it but Indians are making a push.

Black people in America have no clue how hard these Indian hustle, move and cheat. They will wipe them out.

Even the women are getting in on the game. $40 for a handjob :deadmanny:

And I know they're making stupid money. When I saw these signs popping up I knew it was a wrap.

Indians get over here with no debt, no fukked up family situation and no white supremacy on their necks. That's not the case for Black folks

I dont think its that linear. The black people here dont face all those problems or maybe the same level of intensity in regards to those same problems and we're still barely visible in a lot of these industries, almost transparent despite how long we've been here and how many of us there are.

These mans just may have took the opportunity, exploited it, and haven't taken their foot off the industry's neck since.

coast to coast, they know what they want :ld:

Damn this an automation gonna fukk people

We can’t let this shyt happen to other blue collar industries

Indians are WOAT. Automation gonna fukk up this industry

Nah, dont believe the hype. automation is great and all but theres a 1000 years of rules and red tape in the trucking industry, especially in north america.

Trucks will still have drivers for the next 125 years at least. Up-north runs, cross-country runs, cross-boarder-runs.

at most there will be shifts in the work force and change in the workplace demands.

For the last 40 years, commercial airplanes can fly from major airports to other major airports with no one at the controls, but there is always someone in the cockpit. Trains can run nation wide with no one at the controls, but there is always a conductor or engineer. When 'self driving' trucks are a reality, the same will be true....there will always be someone in the cab.

Dont let thecoli or techno boogeyman get into your head, this industry is SHORT on workers and NEEDS employees for the next half century to come.

If your doing short haul, like local and in your city your making 60 a year and might have a shytty contract/rate.

cross-country, international, long-haul your making 120k a year minimum.

Toronto to Texas is like 10k plus your mileage. if you own your truck, its like 15.
