Every once in a while a thread is made about international travel and now that I’ve travelled a lot of places I figured I would make one. If you have any questions please feel free to ask but I’ll post a few to get things started.

How many countries have I travelled to: Including the US, 33

How old is a breh: Just turned 28

Do I travel for work? No, but I am on an expat assignment living in Qatar (see thread for more details The Official Ask a Breh Living in the Middle East Anything Thread(Pics Included))

Next travel destinations: Ukraine and Seychelles

Do I travel solo: yes, 95% of the time.

Do I get lonely travelling solo: no, because I’m typically on the move the entire time

How do you meet people travelling: Instagram, tinder, bar, etc

Average trip duration: 4 days (I take a lot of extended weekend trips being in the Middle East)

Have I ever backpacked: no

Do you stay in hostels: no, but I’ve stayed in a few very cheap hotels

Do I take public transportation in foreign countries: majority of the time I just book an uber or pay a taxi driver unless it’s just not cost effective like in London for example.

Favorite vacation destinations: Cape Town, South Africa and Bali, Indonesia

Do you listen to the media about where to not travel: not really but its some places I wouldn’t for leisure like North Korea, Iraq, etc

Favorite party location: Barcelona, Spain

Best cooperation from women I’ve experienced: South Africa in general

Women with the fattest asses: Moroccan

Most fascinating thing I’ve while travelling: Pyramids in Egypt

Why I travel: Usually I want to see something specific at the location in person, and other times it’s to simply vacation. Also i saw "alot" of people going for the 30 by 30 goal so i set it. Probably went to 20 countires in the last 2 years.

Things that have changed about me the most since I started travelling: I could see myself permanently relocating outside of the US and I know have a lot of Facebook friends in random countries

Countries I’ve travelled to (I may be missing 2 or 3): US, Canada, France, Turkey, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghan, Ethiopia, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Qatar, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Oman, Jordan, Maldives, Lebanon ,United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Greece, , Spain ,Italy, Cyprus

My IG if you need pics:

Where do you get the money from to travel?
What kind of job do you have?
What kind of degree do you have?
How much money do you make per year?
Did you get to date while traveling?
Did traveling stop you from having a relationship?
Do you want your own family? When?
Why is Barcelona your fave? I've always wanted to go there too.

Random-ish question, but have you ever gotten sick in a country where you couldn't speak the language? Or have you ever gotten sick overseas period?

@6ixSigma what are your flight prices looking like? Who is the best to book price wise?

Alot of times I just book with the airline directly. I use google flights and skyscanner alot though.

If you looking for cheap deals then you need to search sites like Secret Flying | Cheap Flight Deals

@6ixSigma Any other Morocco recommendations? Going next week for a few days.

if you want some leather goods go to the tannery but there is also a lot of leather goods being sold at the souk. Don’t let them punk you into buying and always haggle. They got me smh

La Mamounia is one of the nicest hotels I’ve visited. Beautiful pool area (indoor and out plus Jacuzzi ) and hotel grounds. You can buy a day pass to the pool for like $50 and chill all day. Check out the YSL garden and Ben Yousef area. Tip: Buy some liquor in the airport duty free on the way out, it’s cheaper than the store

Nigeria and USA obviously ....... really want to go to Japan and Rio within the next two years, and Cuba ...... Italy hands down is the worst place Ive ever been to ..... and I still dont like South Africa culturally backward

Still has a ways to go but so does the US….

Didn’t really read it but this thread stems from that. The title was enough for me not to enter and “broke” is a very subjective word especially on here. I do believe that you should be travel with emergency funds/plan in case something happens while you’re travelling

Nah, luckily that's never happened to me before. And in most "nice" hositpal/clinics there is someone there who speaks english

Or have you ever gotten sick overseas period?

Not while travelling but i live overseas so when sick i just go to the hospital if needed

Where do you get the money from to travel? I work abroad (expat life)

What kind of job do you have? Logistics/ Supply Chain

What kind of degree do you have? – Supply Chain

How much money do you make per year?

Did you get to date while traveling? Yes

Did traveling stop you from having a relationship? No, I was travelling before them and will do so after them

Do you want your own family? When? By traditional means no since I don’t plan on having kids but I would consider marriage down the line

Why is Barcelona your fave? I've always wanted to go there too, Fave place to party, the nightlife just keeps going and it’s full of people from all over Europe.
