Durban. Damn I miss that place. shyt was like a low-key Miami

This comparison needs to stop. In Europe you can hop on a bus or train and be in another country in minutes. US is a big ass country where you have to fly unless you going to Mexico or Canada

Nah it doesn't we swear we are the greatest country and look down on other countries but we don't have simple shyt like high speed trains or even a transit system that can get you from D.C. To ny with out flying or taking a 6 hour Amtrak. Our airplanes are also out dated compared to a lot of countries. But I guess we would rather have the best military than have nice shyt.

NO I haven’t but I want to visit the Blue Lagoon there so it’s on the list.

Are you an black belt OP?

No, green. Tried to go for the black belt but basically dropped out the course. Not something i would want to shape a career around but a good qualification to have

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Every once in a while a thread is made about international travel and now that I’ve travelled a lot of places I figured I would make one. If you have any questions please feel free to ask but I’ll post a few to get things started.

How many countries have I travelled to: Including the US, 33

How old is a breh: Just turned 28

Do I travel for work? No, but I am on an expat assignment living in Qatar (see thread for more details The Official Ask a Breh Living in the Middle East Anything Thread(Pics Included))

Next travel destinations: Ukraine and Seychelles

Do I travel solo: yes, 95% of the time.

Do I get lonely travelling solo: no, because I’m typically on the move the entire time

How do you meet people travelling: Instagram, tinder, bar, etc

Average trip duration: 4 days (I take a lot of extended weekend trips being in the Middle East)

Have I ever backpacked: no

Do you stay in hostels: no, but I’ve stayed in a few very cheap hotels

Do I take public transportation in foreign countries: majority of the time I just book an uber or pay a taxi driver unless it’s just not cost effective like in London for example.

Favorite vacation destinations: Cape Town, South Africa and Bali, Indonesia

Do you listen to the media about where to not travel: not really but its some places I wouldn’t for leisure like North Korea, Iraq, etc

Favorite party location: Barcelona, Spain

Best cooperation from women I’ve experienced: South Africa in general

Women with the fattest asses: Moroccan

Most fascinating thing I’ve while travelling: Pyramids in Egypt

Why I travel: Usually I want to see something specific at the location in person, and other times it’s to simply vacation. Also i saw "alot" of people going for the 30 by 30 goal so i set it. Probably went to 20 countires in the last 2 years.

Things that have changed about me the most since I started travelling: I could see myself permanently relocating outside of the US and I know have a lot of Facebook friends in random countries

Countries I’ve travelled to (I may be missing 2 or 3): US, Canada, France, Turkey, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghan, Ethiopia, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Qatar, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Oman, Jordan, Maldives, Lebanon ,United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Greece, , Spain ,Italy, Cyprus

My IG if you need pics:

besides the obvious stunting for the gram...what has travelling given you or done for you as a person?

Do you feel like you get a good enough experience of the country in four days?

Stunting for the gram? I’d beg to differ but we all have our personal opinions

What has travelling given you or done for you as a person? Many things, but the main thing would be that it showed me I could live my life completely happy outside of the United States and relocate to another country to spend the rest of my life. This is something I never really dreamed of before I started travelling around the world.

Do you feel like you get a good enough experience of the country in four days? It depends. 4 days in countries like Georgia was enough for me. However I wanted to spend more that 4 days in Spain. So I’d say it depends.

P.S. sometimes I’m not visiting a country to necessarily get the full experience. The vast majority of the times I’m going to visit a specific place like the Tunnel of Love and Chernobyl in Ukraine. 4 days was enough time to visit those sites.

Congrats I'm a year younger but unfortunately I have only been to half the amount of countries you've been to

One question though.
Why the fake Instagram followers?:jbhmm:

17.4k followers but only 300-600 likes. What's the point if it's that obvious?

Dont care how you make money and dont care about your IG, just posting to say good job young brotha.

I see you were in my neck of the woods. Should have stopped by the Philippines. You'd have wild out.

My recommendation: South America. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks and you definitely have the time! I got the vast majority of my followers all in one summer about 3 years ago when i was travelling and posting alot. I deleted alot of photos and don't post anywhere near as much as i used to so some people stop following. I use to have about 24k at one point. After IG changed the way photos were posted alot of people's "like count" went down. Lots of factors into that whole IG algorithm topic but that's another conversation

Thanks my dudd and the Philippines is one my long list if places to go. Been meaning to get to South America as well. I rather travel back towards the Americans being in the Middle East so trying to take advantage of visiting the countries I can easily access for now but it's a hand full of countries in South America I must visit

Follow-up: Which of the countries you visited would you feel comfortable permanently living in and why?

Which ones would you never want to live in and why?
