This documentary was fire, loved it. Jim is a legend, one of the greatest speeches in the history of sports right up there with Lou Gehrig's "Luckiest Man" speech.

Houston was really a problem back then, WTF happened to the program? They were like the lob city of College Basketball. Drexler was a really underrated athlete he was as athletic as Jordan, 44 inch vert and a 4.2 40 yard dash. They called Hakeem, Akeem Abdul Olajuwon back then.

How the fukk did Guy Lewis risk lettin Clyde get 4 fouls in the first half?? :mindblown:

I watched the full game in its entirety a few years ago, and I know the fourth foul was a reckless and obvious charge against Drexler with a few seconds to go. :dead: Like you said, he should have been on the bench after the second.

Raleigh by way of Crooklyn
I liked the documentary but I didn't like how it seemed to focus on Whittenberg as opposed to the whole team. Anybody catch that uncomfortable moment where Terry Gannon was talking about how he was actually open at the elbow, and Whittenberg was like "not only did I not pass you the ball, I ain't even look your way" :birdman: and then told him, "Coach told me afterwards that you woulda crapped your pants if I had passed you the ball"... To me, it was like Gannon laughed along with it, but I thought he was kinda salty at him saying that.

:wow: @ the run they made to win the championship.

Damn shame how Valvano's time at NC State ended though.

Probably the luckiest college basketball team of all time. They had no business winning it that year. I always heard that the refs fukked Houston out that game and how that game shouldn't have never been that close at the end.
