See how it sounds a little "unrational."

LOL @ KRS making a song about being deep and then making up the word "unrational" in the same song...and then taking that same improper word and having Preemo scratch it in the hook of the song Boom Bap. I wonder how many kids misused that word listening to KRS. I ask because I was one of them.

THE MOST OUTTER REACHES OF THE COSMOS
I haven't gone through the whole BDP/KRS catalog, but you could make a case for Edutainment being a classic. That album's a monster. :whew:

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned "Ya Slippin'" yet. Was that ICU talking throughout the song? :bryan:

"At ten, you're fukked
At nine, you suck
At eight, you're a sucker, at seven, a motherfukker
At six, you're slapped
At five, you're just wack
At four, you're lost, at three, you're just soft
At two, you're an ass, at one, you're a dikk
But before you slip, I'll whip
'Cause homeboy, ya SLIPPIN'!" :damn:

That was JUST-ICE talking through out Ya Slipping and yeah that was a ill azz track Cuz!:myman:

FACTS. I'm probably the biggest Kris fan on this site (which is why I've been so disappointed lately with some of his stances), and nobody wanted to step to him lyrically back then.

Loved this "Still Numero Uno" remix, too....but when it comes to remixes with KRS on them, you ALWAYS gotta throw the Steady B in there:

That Numero Uno was sooo hard!:mjlol:

A hispanic teacher in the 9th grade corrected me and put me on the spot in late 92 when I used the word exactly how KRS used it and the teacher said straight up "KRS isnt a teacher, I'm a teacher....its Irrational...not unrational"

I had to look it up....KRS failed me :mjcry:

But then when Boom Bap came out a year later he used it in the hook and I was like "This Muthafukka" :heh:

Fast Foward....early 2000's....I'm looking at my lil cousins Spelling test. She got the word "fabulous" wrong she spelled it out like the rapper....f-a-b-o-l-o-u-s. I laughed and immediatly thought of how KRS had me saying shyt all wrong back in the day too.

Remembers, 4yr old me watching My Philosophy on Video Music Box:blessed:

...Mainly I write for the average New Yorker:salute:

Criminal Minded>>>, tho:yeshrug:

:salute:

Video Music Box is where I would see this video daily as well. 9 years old. I was addicted to Video Music Box. They played that video everyday....But right before that they ran the I'm Still #1 live vid posted in OP. But right before that they would play the live version of Criminal Minded from that same concert. The order was Criminal Minded concert video...Still #1concert video.....and then the My Philosophy video was like the first official video they did.

We have to talk about the song Jimmy. First time I ever heard this was at Skate Key. This was the comedy relief of the whole album. This was considered raunchy at the time but nothing on the level of Slick Ricks "Indian Girl":merchant:

This 1 song pretty much help give BBD there 2 biggest hits. "You cant trust a big butt and a smile"

The J the I the M the M the Y ya'll...I need a body bag"

Did BDP ever get a check from BBD?

Looking at their names BBD damn near jacked BDPs name .....:patrice:
