I saw in his contract details that he gets a $3MM bonus if he’s traded...and can void the contract 1yr following a trade. :ehh:

Can’t see him opting out, and not getting those final two years at $30MM+

He's only 30. A 4 or 5tr contract and he easily makes it up

Nah I don’t believe that. In a league thirsty for pitching that Jeff Samardzija is making $20M, there would be a team giving him $25M easily. Yeah, he’s shaky in October, but he still gets you to the playoffs.

Shark was still throwing high 90s when he got that deal. Kershaw's barely cracking 90.
