edit: thats WV. wtf is 304?

yeah I remember calling people pagers in the 90s with 304 in the 90's lol

A 304 is a term used to refer to a promiscuous woman or sex worker. If you type the number 304 into an old-school LED calculator and flip it upside down, it should look like the word “h*e,” which some use as a slang word for the profession.

basically, the chickens coming home to roost. folks should have listened. black men spent almost 30 years degrading their women through music and popular culture and are now upset that those women act degraded.
Black women have been seen as and treated as concubines by society before a brotha ever stepped on the mic, hell, before mics were commercially available. That's been their roles and image since the slave ships landed. If they want to continue to play the jezebel role, it's not the fault of black men.

That's a stupid take since it ignores the fact that there were many black men against rap. One famous example that comes to mind:

And black men made and supported all kinds of music back then that was not rap as well so blaming black men seems all kinds of off. Even more, it just provides cover for record execs that, if they were so intent on pushing an image and ideology driven by their own racist disdain for black people, then they'd gladly take the financial L to do so.

In any case, personally, I sorta don't care. Not bothered but interested in all that is going on. I think the music sucks and think it provides no value but I understand people being against it. Just use the right reasons.

Edit: I'll also add this idea of "returning that energy" or whatever that usually comes up in these discussions is pretty stupid as well. It's basically admitting that you know doing something is bad but because black men did it, now you want to do it to, instead of learning from that mistake or problem. Basically cutting your nose off to spite your face on steroids. It's mind-boggling this has to be pointed out but alas.
