The slight problem I have with the Jokic MVP talk is that he is the only one that is allowed to win the MVP every year that he is playing like an MVP

I'm not a Lebron fan in the slightest, but there were times from 2007 to 2015 where Lebron was clearly the best player in the NBA, but somehow he never won because of "voter fatigue" or that someone else "had a better storyline". Same exact thing with Giannis as well
What years in particular?

shai has been the best regular season player this year in the league with all defensive level performance and leading the league in scoring on both ends. Again I ask why is no one speaking out on jokic being a cone on defense and a lay up line? I've seen more criticism towards curry and older players for their defense much less the so called best player in the league. They will keep voting him mvp as long as the league allow this white stat nerds who value numbers and box scores to vote mvp an absolute joke in league predominantly black as well. He won it as a sixth seed , won it last year which was a travesty, now that shai has his team in no 1 spot again nearly 10 games better than denver while leading the league in scoring they switch it back up to stats. We have let this nerds infiltrate the game and then dictate to us who is deserving or not. Suddenly defense doesn't matter when it comes to jokic. Why? Suddenly voter fatigue which hurt other deserving players in the past no matter happens? Their narrative is to keep giving him mvps until he equals kareem total because they know he can never amass half of that in rings. Count me out on jokic love fest. Another josh allen 2.0

They never get voter fatigue with the white ones which is why I'm rooting against Jokic

It's a reason Bird won 3 in a row

It's the reason Nash won back to back..

All those players are great

BUT all those situations are very questionable IMO

Nothing questionable about Nash leading the Sun's to a 34 win turnaround and then leading them to 54 wins with his 26ppg all star hurt for all but 3 games.

But we've had to hear kobetards complain their man in 7th place didn't win for 20 years
