More people have been voting since 2004 than 2000 and below. You don't think it is crazy that only 30% of the people are deciding who the president is? I'm sure it is even less for the House.

This actually makes sense. A record % of Americans voted in 2020 and then we end up having a pretty rough 4 years under Biden. Most people don't understand how politics work (and probably don't care to), it would be difficult to get those people to vote again in 2024.

It's also not a coincidence that the swing states are amongst the highest % voter turnout. If people feel like their vote means something, they will go out and vote.
