Not all jobs are remote. Say for instance I get a position at Coca Cola but they require commuting but they pay me 40% more. I'd make more commuting and work there but I'd have to move closer to the office. Vs another remote company offers the same or less. Renting gives that flexibility. If she already deep in her job and likes it and wants to stay then yeah that's understandable. But for people early in their career there can be a lot of job hopping and a house can make that more difficult

Breh could’ve inherited a home from family, I pay a low mortgage for Oakland given I bought my grandma’s home from my parents for the $250k that was left on it. I could sell it for $1.5M easy

Like i said I live in waianae. It's in a newer community built in 2007. i paid 675k a couple years ago. Now it's over 900k. If I lived 15 minutes close to town I'd be in the 1.2m range

That's a dope apartment but $3200 a month for 1100 square feet! That's more than double than my mortgage on my 2100 square foot house.

Like this is gonna be new construction for ~300, and the payment is ~2100
