Win 8 RT 8.1 is coming in OCT. so it will get a update. It still has some uses. If I didnt have my Nexus 10, Zenbook and 2 other laptops I'm trying to sell I might would have got the this.

Weren't you the same clown buying touchpads when HP stopped making them? LMAO at RT being dead. Your bias is so disgusting.
Anyways, this device is a great deal for $199. Anyone claiming it's not worth it is an idiot and probably should be ignored when it comes to tech opinions. The main problem with this tablet is that its is underpowered, but its is VERY capable. Furthermore, RT can run ALL Windows 8 programs.
So for $199 its a fukking steal. Anyone seriously considering purchasing this device shouldn't hesitate. I bought mine on release day and still use it regualry.

No. RT runs ALL Windows 8 apps. It cannot run any legacy Windows apps though. I'm not sure about Spotify, but you have Nokia Music and Xbox Music, both of which are excellent music streaming services.
Correct me if i'm wrong but RT is akin to the mobile version of Windows 8 and doesn't run all Windows 8 programs fully as Pro does. I say this cuz i been waiting on a good price for a Windows 8 Pro tablet specifically to run Spotify unlimited streaming which i don't think RT can do.
Whats the difference between the pro and the rt?
Thinking about getting my girl one for xmas,Pro has a better processor and runs full Windows 8
Hold out pro should be like $300 by Xmas, now that will be a hell of a deal
