It is a real thing I have a friend who can't stop befriending women that are not fukking with him. He got so many female contacts that don't see him as more than a friend it is unbelievable. Dude doesn't get it... He's been working on some of these women for a decade, still holding out hope. I've had the chance to smash a couple of these friends but I can't hurt his soul like that.
One of em was drunk texting me from his phone so I know he saw it. He tried to smash the same night too and she bounced on his ass

I don't believe in the friendzone.
I think any woman or man placed in the "friendzone" has not accepted that they just aren't what the other person wants right then.
I think they're just biding their time; it's safer to wait it out, hope the other person will change their mind one day.
I believe there are dudes/women who are afraid of rejection, and just get stuck trying to see if they can get pulled off the bench.
That permanent penalty box wherein the bench resides is what I think is commonly referred to as the "friendzone".
They can watch, they can be seen, but they ain't in the game.

For a guy that actually looks for a chick as a friend AND more, it's a tough situation.
Most females don't go through this or think it's wrong.. They think having male friends is nothing and none of them won't make a pass or try to hook up if the female allowed it to.
Only close male friend you should have is a spouse.. Or maybe even a homo (but since I think that's a choice as well, I would still be uncomfortable with that).
But every male friend a chick hasn't fukked is in the friendzone.
And for you it's a choice to be there. Do you want to be friends or more? If you say more and you're rejected then honestly it's for the best to let that go

If a girl isn't physically attracted to you but still thinks you are a decent human being, why the hell is that a thing to men?
I still don't understand the concept of being offended at someone who acknowledges ur awesomeness despite the curious drying of the vagina when in close proximity.
