Dude was right; this jumped off in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Beef between projects (Garvey and Langston Hughes houses). It’s even songs of them going at each other from back then. They do these big busts damn every other year, which is why everyone booked is always young. They all get locked up as teenagers and next generation just inherits the beef.

It is alleged that the teenage girls would carry the guns while the gang members walked nearby and directed the girls to various locations providing the weapons as needed for the purposes of shooting rival gang members.

The girls were allegedly not expected to face any gun charges if arrested, in the hopes they would receive a lesser sentence due to their age and gender.

I acknowledge we live in a country where black men with those kind of names have a much harder time finding gainful employment. I didn’t make up the rules. Do I begrudge any of them who choose to stake out success down an avenue separate from the standard channel most of us travel? Of course not. I have stated on here, time and again, that I refuse to work for cacs and swore off the corporate life. But, I also came from an upper middle class background, in a two parent household, that afforded me a certain luxury to navigate life how I saw fit.
