That's unnecessary, the 'beef' wasn't at all important except for two things:
1- Understanding how ghostwriti– I'm sorry – reference tracks are received by the hip-hop public nowadays.
2- Understanding how beef is to be conducted in this new social networking era.
This beef was more about the public than the actors that engaged in it. Don't let the memes make it seem like Meek actually took that much of an L. Sure he failed badly, but he's nowhere near Bill Cosby's level of failure. So if Philly wants to decry something they know who made your state fall the worst.

But I don't get why people (like OP) invest emotions into hip hop beefs. shyt is probably scripted anyway, mainstream rap in 2015 = entertainment. You only need to look at the threads being made in The Booth, they all about the politics and not about actual music.
