You just described Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, and even Steven Spielberg, breh. Plus, it's not like George is to shy about the fact that you stated considering they showed a lot of movies he copies direct scenes from in the Star Wars documentary on the 2004 DVD set.

As for After Earth, idk what you all saw in this movie. I saw it once and wasn't impressed. Then, I saw a thread on this site calling anyone who didn't like the movie a c00n or a cac, so it go me thinking about it, and I watched it again. I still wasn't impressed. Just because it stars two black characters doesn't negate the fact that it's still a terrible, dull, and trite movie. It had a lot of good ideas, but none of them were executed well at all.

its one thing to be influenced by something, or even take an idea and put a new spin on it, but straight jacking is just tacky

and with george its not just the kurosawa scenes, and the shyt he deboed from metropolis
everything in star wars is from somewhere else I'm every thing down the princess' hairstyle
but kurosaw was definitely he's Biggie and he Jay-Z, I mean goddamn, you can't be straight sharking like that, and have people calling
you a genius, thats bullshyt
