Thats where FB comes into play. If they know who is expected to vote, in which districts, they can target them with ads and fake outrage groups to sway them to vote one way or another.

Bots are real and they influence people. Targeting potential "victims" down the the district is invaluable especially in states that can go either way i.e. ohio, wisconsin, Florida, etc.

Right now the intelligence community is certain russia influenced the election in favor of trump.

If they had access to voter registration in states where the vote could go either way, they could place ads strategically, create fake accounts, fake group pages to push a narrative that supports Ttump.
