I remember when the video came out the message boards treated it like it was Hip-Hop Armageddon.

Hindsight being 20/20 I guess...

I always said this song is why Nas aint as big as Jay commercially.... if his wack ass "he should only be rocking to Primo" fans would have accepted this song, Nas wouldnt have rebelled so hard after the extreme criticism. It was a solid radio song. Very solid radio song...

He would have continued wit a few of these types of songs...

People saying "Oochie Wally." If I remember right, that was just Bravehearts, and Nas added a verse later on. This is one of those songs people go back and forth on too. I hear people say they hate this song with a passion online all the time. But, I remember the song was all over the place in clubs and parties and I still see it get a positive reaction when DJs put it on to this day.
