i disagree. Always ask for the number. Anywhere, anytime. I work at Wal-Mart, one of the most popular places for cold approaches. I've tried both methods, giving her my number and getting her number. I'm dead ass serious that women very rarely IF AT ALL will call first. If she calls first, she's usually very masculine in nature, and I like my women feminine. By waiting for her to call or text first is the complete opposite of taking the lead. That's giving her the responsibility to initiate a continued relationship. That's not masculine at all. It shows that you're passive and not assertive. I currently converse with 10 girls, all 10 whose numbers I ASKED FOR. I was responsible for starting these relationships after the first encounter, and girls love it. It's a WAY higher success rate.

Yep, the thing that most ppl dont realize is that learning the ART of conversation and being able to improvise can help you in other aspects of life also. I used to be one of those "i dont know what to say" guys, but i would practice small-talk with random people and it really helped when i started approaching females. People underrate the power of being able to strike up and hold a convo, especially today when everybody is in their own "social media" world. Face 2 face interaction is becoming a lost art. Guys that are good at it has an advantage
