So whilst of course you might get a small minority of Italians who may not have a racist bone in their body, their racism is accepted as the norm and is rarely challenged. So calling them racist does not make us KKK equivalents because we’re not advocating for them to be murdered and lynched for their skin color.

I once read a book in re: World War 1, specifically the Italian Front.
So the Germans and the Austro-Hungarian Army attacked at Caporetto and shattered the Italian front line. It nearly knocked Italy out of the war, but Britain and France rushed troops to shore up the Italians, and the Germans were unaware of the scope of their success. The remaining Italian troops on the front lines were Alpini, elite mountain troops. They reassured the British by telling them that the ones who broke and fled were southern Italians; apparently, there's a fair amount of animus between the two.
I also learned in that book that Italian soldiers didn't use latrines or even ditches. They just shyt wherever they felt like..

Breh they had video on MSNBC yesterday showing them using drones to find folks who don't wear their required masks outside. If they don't have a mask on the drone has speakers where an officer directs them to use their mask or go back home.
Then if you are pulled over with no mask. The cops artest you and put a hood on your head...

I dont know if cacs deserve any sympathy from us after all we've been through at their hands..we have every reason to be defensive, and even offensive with them. But go ahead and show them empathy, be the bigger man because they certainly wont dispense some understanding your way.
