Just spent 10 days in Uganda outside of Kampala this summer. Went to a brothers house that was fairly well off (sent like 5 of his kids to college). And naw, I'm good. He lived in a walled compound neighborhood with a guard but it was still red dirt roads all around. Loved my time there but have no desire to live there. Give me 300K in the US

So what are you saying? You don't think Black people could've helped you the way "people belonging to other races" did?

Edit:

These exchanges. :deadrose:
No because I have gotten plenty of help from black people in my life.
But if I had the opinions many people on here claim I should have had towards non black people in the past my life would be visibly worse.
Not once have I claimed that people shouldn't want to live around predominately black people.
But my life has no experience with black people that when I think back to I can say that i'd feel better if I lived around only black people.

but have you spent time in Haiti
Too poor:camby:
Yes :manny:
If people can prefer to be totally around their race then people can prefer to be around many.
The thought of being around all black people doesn't get me as warm and fuzzy as it gets people on thecoli because it hasn't had an effect beyond being around other races in my life, if an hbcu was my best choice I would go to one, but I'd go to one no worry, but it'd be second to a school with a mixture of people.
People can hate on that if they want to :yeshrug:

You need to choose your words better. There's a big difference between saying you want to be in a more mixed environment versus saying someplace is too black. Being a New Yorker with Jamaican parents, I have completely different views about what is diversity.

I wouldn't feel right just living in a foreign country with excess wealth, while the locals are getting the shyt end of the stick via the government.

Through with that said probably Ethiopia.

i'm accustomed to the quality of life here in america. i dont want to be well off in a 3rd world country, i'm cool. if i'm predominately around whites, it sucks, but i'll do my best to group with the small % of blacks in the community
