So true. I don't use the word "c00n," and the n-word never made it into my vocabulary. I can understand the argument about us reclaiming that word, and using it as a term of endearment, but IMO all it signifies is that we are still very much oppressed. I do think that it would be nice to phase the word out seeing as how everyone is starting to openly say it now. The n-word, much like hiphop music, doesn't really "belong" to us anymore.

Why do we call each other nikka?
When the word nikka...

btw dindu nuffin is pretty funny tbh :heh:
we? you're brasilian.

as an african I can see AAs battered wife syndrome from a mile away, even when watching AAs comment on the extraordinary trade deals between many of our countries and China. They assume we, too, are mentally weak, but in the coming decade we will all see.....

c00ns, nikka, caring what swine think, all apart of the historic battering they got over the century, even now with all the advancement in communication they struggle to break said chains. quite awful to see, really.

I used that as an example, i mean if they use one word why not use the other.
And actually we do have the portugese version of nikka here. It's just disgusting, i don't ever use it because it sounds stupid if you're not as confused as other black people. shyt even cacs use it on a daily basis :scusthov:

Africa is a continent, you may want to look up which countries do and don't because I can assure you not all of them have it.

The word has been reclaimed and cac's power over it has been depleted. Rejoice, OP. Besides, if we instead preferred to use words like Uncle Tom, sellout, wench, etc, you'd find some convenient problem with those too, because your problem isn't with c00n at all, but rather any recognizance and rebuttal to anti-black hypocritical actions.

While I can understand people having a problem with the word "c00n", the reality is that there ARE people who are a detriment to our community. Black people who cause a significant amount of damage in our pursuit of success. It goes back as far as slavery when you had "c00ns" that snitched to "massa" about slave flights and rebellions. Today we see "c00ns" in politics or in the media, discrediting any action for black empowerment or argument against white supremacy. Those black men and women need to be identified and separated from the rest of the community. Calling them "c00ns", a word that was heavily associated with minstrel performances, is a shaming tactic to identify what you are NOT to be as a black man or woman in this country - a "sellout", "uncle tom", a "mammy"/"Aunt Jemima", "c00n".

For the people out there who say, "but...but...you're dividing us as people when you use these terms to categorize us". NO! c00ns divide themselves from the rest of us by being selfish, mentally weak, and liabilities to a people who are broken enough as it is. In our fight against so many intentionally placed outside barriers to keep us from progressing, the last thing we need is people of our own hue aiding white supremacy. They need to be socially persecuted, exiled, and shamed.

Also, the difference between "c00n" and the n-word at least is that "c00n" still holds a negative connotation whereas you have people who try to argue that calling each other "nikkas" is a term of an endearment.
