What's the best way for a young brotha to give a compliment to a young black woman that will be well received by yall? I don't mind giving black women platonic compliments but I aint tryna play my self by chicks thinking I'm thirsty.

I think the reason why it works for older men is because they aren't pursuing anything. They just say it because they mean it or as escapism. Either way it's never vulgar or sexual just sweet.

My advice is to give it to a woman who you are in contact wit. Not so random. Maybe you been behind her at the groceries or something. Compliments on hair and clothes are always good because it's desexualised. Just don't come off sexual and don't expect her to suck your ball just because you said something nice.

Wayne Brady's sounded forced and disingenuous, the others didn't do much better. Like when Wesley Snipes tried to compliment Angie Stone at some event a while back, just seemed out of place. Also I don't care for broad generalizations. Most people, black ones included, that I know are full of shyt with some redeeming qualities. Wouldn't necessarily vouch for them from the mountaintop or want to be a character witness if subpoenaed.
