And I've always shown love to them.

No lie but I miss older black American men. I know there are some creepy dudes out there that just take it too far but when older black dudes compliment you they be so sweet and smooth.

Edit - older black men anywhere are pros when it comes to the compliments. They put a genuine smile on my face.

Got me thinking about my grandpa. I should post a picture, he was so handsome and friendly He would always say good day/afternoon to people in a cordial way.
No weirdness or ulterior motives when he spoke to women, just pleasantry because he was social and charming like that. He liked to make people smile and feel recognized.


I loved him so much, but it wasn't until he was gone that I realized how much I would miss "Good afternoon, granddaughter!", his compliments and his easygoing nature..

I've already come to the conclusion that no woman will ever love me like my mother does, but anything close to that is only going to come from a black woman. People don't understand how transformative black love is in general. I was seeing this girl recently who I think is exquisite.. but on a Nola Darling tip. She was showering me with compliments and motivation like my momma does.
