You can’t expect to get reasonable answers on an internet message board on this subject, because the people hanging around thecoli on New Year’s Day ain’t the kind of people that are gonna be the most satisfied, know what I’m saying? Don’t believe this “Get a sudoku puzzle and settle in for 4 decades of misery” is just some crab in the barrel mentality from unhappy brehs looking to vent when they saw a thread about shytty jobs.

If I were you, I’d try and get one of those other job offers then quit. I don’t really know why you have to pay if you don’t get a masters and all that, shyt sounds like some sort of trap. If you have to pay money to quit, then it’s whatever, because how often in life can you guarantee being happier by just paying some money. Get out before you’re in too deep, breh

Like two dudes have suggested he start playing with rubix cubes... he’s talking about wanting to be a restaraunt owner, like dudes are just projecting their own experiences from corporate life in a situation where it doesn’t relate. I can’t think of any aspect of the restaurant industry where you can play with a rubix cube... like what, being waiting tables or slicing tomatoes? It’s ridiculous

It’s 2018 America, I’m not suggesting there’s some transcendent happiness to be found through working, I’m just saying that your job doesn’t have to make you want to jump off a bridge. One of the few benefits of capitalist society is the free market offers different job opportunities with similar skill sets, so if you hate working at one place, you can take your resume and find somewhere you hate less. People out here are like “Well that’s just the way it is, have fun! That’s why they pay you!” On some pessimistic shyt. It’s unnecessary and not telling anyone anything they don’t already know. You can keep repeating these mantras, y’all are only trying to convince yourselves.
