Yep, we already could make the distinction between socio economic status back. might not have known what that word meant. but we knew the the dusty kid who wore the same clothes everyday was poor and shyt like that.

Which ironic looking back on it because in some cases, the kids that were dressed nice were just as poor if not more as the dusty kid who wore the same clothing :skip:

in the 2nd grade a nikka would give me his lunch money everyday
because I had reebok pumps, and he had dusty shoes...
we switched kicks in the AM, then switched back after school because he was embarassed...
I didnt give a fukk about how i dressed because i was a "popular" kid
the amount of candy i consumed that year...
:wow:

I was dusty and my parents made more cash than the fly kids:mjcry:
:therethere: it's all good dusty ass breh
some parents wasn't about that materiality. Thats cool. My mom wasn't dressing me in designer brands or anything, but we still went back to school shopping every year.
I was fortunate that i was the same size as my big brother so hand me downs wasn't a factor, if he grew out it, i wasn't fitting it either.

When I got my first job @ 15, I got an outfit every week due to my mom filling my closet with those ugly ass shirts.

As long as you wore something new and clean everyday, you not really dusty in my eyes. When i talk about dusty i mean the kids who come to school all wrinkled up and shyt. Dirty shoes, wearing the same shyt they already wore twice this week
