My experience with some of those old teachers is they would not hesitate to call you out instantly in front of the whole class. One of my teachers in elementary school slapped a couple kids across the face. This was back in the day, there was no hesitation on their part. They ran a tight ship
They used to paddle us in my old school. This was when i was living in GA for a short time. They didn't do that in Ohio.
but yeah major differences between schools. We had to pledge allegience to the flag every morning, and say a prayer before every lunch period in GA too.
Maryland as well. The difference is crazy. And I’m not shytting on people going through school nowadays, but it was totally different as far as discipline and respect.
Not that it was a 100% cure. We were bad then.
