AJ and Gallows had TV experience, Gallows having been in WWE for years, and Daniel Bryan was a pretty bland character until his world title reign. Not saying people will flop without NXT, but Bryan had to go through a lot of trial and error and trying shyt out on SD where nobody was watching before he finally got over. You don't wanna have dope talent get lost in the shuffle because they haven't quite figured it out yet character-wise and are still learning how to handle the WWE stage

If they're signing people just to sign them with no intention on bringing them up soon, they're just hoarding talent is what I'm saying.
