What I mean is he should be there to mourn the loss of his father. Just out of respect for his dad. A lot of people take time off of work when stuff like this happens. Also dude has worked hard for a LONG ASS TIME and finally made it, missing two RAW episodes back in the day wasn't a big deal back in the day because plenty of Main Eventers weren't on weekly. That's why we never got sick of wrestlers back in the day.

I get that but there's also the possibility of Bryan wanting to work tonight to pay some time of tribute to his pops. If we believe WWE.com story (no reason not to in this case, imo) he asked to be part of the show tonight. He may be given promo time to vent a little bit or even have a match. This is a guy who is most comfortable when he is inside the ring so if he wants to be there, let him be there.
They'll probably give him the weekend house shows off to be with his family.

I don't get it. So if he wants to be on RAW you wouldn't give him permission to be there? Like a "he doesn't know any better" type of deal? That's valid, though I don't agree with it.
Or you just don't believe the story and think he's being forced to be there?
