I'm convinced the Tank is in the closet after seeing some of the tiktoks. He is really zesty. He should come out, his PPV #s will go up.

He's probaly not honestly. Tank is 28 years old.

I dunno how old you are but it's a very different generation than the one we grew up in. If you grew up in the 90s and early 2000s, you had to be hyper masculine and hard.

Haney fans don’t even care or have interest in the undisputed, lightweight chess match coming up.

Calling it that is stupid.

First, a large majority of people don’t play and darn sure don’t watch chess.
Chess is synonymous with nerds not fighting.

They can rebuild Ryan but they gotta be super careful. He needs to fight some older heads who he should beat but will make em earn it.

Zepada, then Pedraza, then Lipinets before positioning himself for a title shot
I think all 3 are too dangerous for Ryan Garcia right now. He needs to take a year to a year and a half off and really work on his defense and footwork, and then come back for a few light touches. He wasn't ready for Tank, and the biggest mistake was only having him fight once last year in preparation for the Tank fight. I think part of that is they were worried about Ryan getting upset by someone else before he could cash in with Tank and the other part is they were worried about Tank's legal troubles. So the fight had to be made when it was made.

Not surprised. They had zero chemistry. It was as if he picked him cause other trainers couldn't be bothered.
It looked uncomfortable at times, agree.

Garcia / Goosen knew each other back in the day.

Goosen is hands off as far as technique goes, his coaching style is to improve on the strengths. This isn't unusual in boxing. But Garcia seems to need, and wants, someone to reconstruct him a little. He's been asking for this sort of guidance since Reynoso days.

Personally I think he should go with Jose Benavidez Snr. They both have the same manager I'm pretty sure. Both Mexican American (Benavidez Equadorian/Mexican).

If Garcia could learn to guard straight down the pipe (pause) like Benavidez, jab with movement, bop/walk step instead of creep step, he might do something at 140.

Time will tell. And fwiw I could give two fukks about that clout champ.
