Maybe I'm seeing the wrong news, but didn't he win from electoral college, and lose the popular vote?:patrice:

And even if I'm wrong, this is what you want, Democrates took us for suckers, now this would put a fire under their ass.

This is how you supposed to play the game, I'm confused how people don't understand this. When your chick is mad at you, she hold sex back, right? Why would you keep voting for people who aren't listening to your complaints, except when election comes around, and you keep voting for them?

I'm proud of black people for not being scared into some bullshyt, which is what they were trying to do, and it backfired on them, all that talk of Trump just amped up people wanting him in office!

Can't compare economics to votes. Cause one person = one vote. No matter how much income or power you have.

Black folk in those swing states sat out, and how is that working out in 2018? With food stamps getting taken away and net neutrality ending, how does that change the condition for black people for the better?

come on breh. was that obama's fault or did you forget the part where the gop controlled congress for 2/3 of his presidency? they openly pledged to tank the country and make everyone suffer so they could blame it on him.

we got to move past this idea that obama the magical negro could have secured reparations and fixed all our problems by himself.

again, i don't think black people are to blame for trump. we do need to show up in our local and state elections like we did in alabama and then keep our foot on the dems necks.

That isn't true, because Asians vote the least out of all groups, yet still have a say in local politics. That's because they use their resources to have politicians speak for them.

Again, did he win by popular vote or not? The only people who should be worried about black sitting out are democrats, because that is a big vote, and one that was loyal, that they lost.

AND, it wasn't gonna get better anyway, didn't you see the game democrats were playing with immigration?

There whole plan was to increase immigration so they can hire people who don't have all the rights as citizens, which means low pay for many, and more working. Both sides are working for big business, they just do it in different ways, this is why both hated Bernie Sanders. Our lack of voting has shooked them, because now they have to find a different strategy. I'm shocked that yall are this scary, and don't realize how fukked up things are getting, so we have to do something to make things shaky for them. Republicans aint for us, so we have no choice but to do something else.

Their big thing was police brutality, which they only dealt with because of black lives matter interrupting Hillary's campaign speeches, but their big issue was immigration, and there was a big reason for it which i explained in my last post.

Sorry for the back to back posts

How do you know what the courts will decide? A travel ban for immigrants is much different then civil rights of U.S. citizens!

You think Obama was the first president that could have done an executive order that benefitted blacks? You need to go back, and read american history!

World War II and Post War (1940–1949) - The Civil Rights Act of 1964: A Long Struggle for Freedom | Exhibitions - Library of Congress

"President Franklin Roosevelt issued an executive order that banned discrimination in defense industries. His Executive Order 8802, June 25, 1941, established the Committee on Fair Employment Practices (known as FEPC) to receive and investigate discrimination complaints and take appropriate steps to redress valid grievances"

"Truman later issued an executive order that abolished racial discrimination in the military"

Maybe my posts won't fly, but it aint cause some of yall got any sense:troll:

Comrade Tariqov Nasheedsky. :dead:

The fact that 4.4 million not voting is being blamed on any one individual's opinion, versus the fact that the internet has an unfiltered amount of outlets to listen, watch, and read, so an individual can take the aggregate of that information (key phrase) and decide if it's worth voting is never part of the recent conspiracy theory Russian impact on the elections conversation, speaks volumes for not being mentioned.

Like in 2000 when Gore vs Bush was in full effect, there was no Google, no Wikipedia, no Twitter, no YouTube, no millions of small independent outlets with diverse degree of opinions you could tap into.......................on your phone no less :wow:.

In 2000, it was ABCMSBCNNFOX and even hardcopy newspapers and magazines we're still pooping (not a typo). We are not in 2000 anymore, there is not a corporate hegemony on information (although they are working tirelessly to restore the feeling).

So when you start blaming (lame) Tariq Nasheed for millions of black people not voting you are 100% correct, except you have to blame the millions of independent voices and outlets that didn't exist 18 years ago too. Same goes for all the other millions that :camby: the 2016 election.

Cracking down on Wall Street, Police reform, raising minimum wage

Tariq and his core folks making a huge impact is something i doubt. Things like Bern vs Clinton did a whammy on Clinton's black support.

I don't think black people were unaware of the illegals getting more main stream support from them either. Many were starting to see the :mjpls: and the relatively weaker legal support for preventing and punishing police brutality.

The ball was dropped.

Hillary won the popular vote by millions of voters.

The fact that folks forget this, and blame foreign boogie men is :scust:. The electoral college won for Trump.....that is it.

The electoral college won the 2016 for Trump. Remember how close Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania were in 2016. Hillary won by millions of votes (If we not including any ineligible voters), but she didn't win enough voters in the "right" states to satisfy the the electoral college. She could have got all 4.4 million of Obama's former voters to vote for her, but if they were in the "wrong" states, it wouldn't matter.

If you don't like the electoral college, then you need a constitutional convention.
