That's old news. Jay had a 3 album deal with live nation to be partners in roc nation. In may they signed a new deal for ONLY jays touring

This album is all Indy being that he owns roc nation and no major is behind it. Which is why he can do only tidal and he's talking about no advances and taking real chances

So no. The label is not buying albums cause that would mean jay was paying roc nation to "buy" his own albums, from himself. And they are all on his stream anyway, which is also owns.

I remember when Star did a whole episide about labels buying half of the first week sales. And he would be the expert on such topics being that he worked at Virgin records.

labels can't buy albums in bulk like that he is lying

if you buy the same album in more quantity than 3, it only counts as 3 albums. so if you go to the till with 10 albums and pay for them all at once, it will only be recognised as 3 sales
