I remember years back I was a big Williams and Lubin guy.
Their skills were undeniable. But they'd faced nobody. The eye test doesn't always work. You never know how a guy's chin or stamina will hold up. Pad fighters record with guys who can't punch or are shopworn and you'll never really know how good they are..well unless they're special and rise to the occasion.
