A Chester man was found guilty of first-degree murder and related offenses in the 2020 shooting death of 13-year-old Ny’Ques Farlow-Davis.
Sulaymann Womack, 25, was also found guilty of conspiracy to murder and firearms not be carried without a license following a jury trial before Common Pleas Court Judge Kevin F. Kelly. He was the only one of four defendants to take his case to trial.
Keyonte Watkins, 25; Danielle Showell, 33; and Tayvon Starkey, 26, all previously pleaded for their roles in Farlow-Davis’ killing on May 3, 2020
A cooperating witness said Womack pointed out that Farlow-Davis was wearing a sweatshirt with “BFE” printed on it, a music label out of Sun Village, and said he was going to take the shirt off the victim.
The witness said Starkey drove around the block and parked, then Womack got out and said to the the two boys, “Come here.”
Another witness said the man who got out of the Acura was wearing a black ski mask and hat, and was holding a gun.
He told Farlow-Davis to run and bolted down 20th Street. Farlow-Davis ran to the right down a driveway between houses.
The cooperating witness said they saw Womack and Starkey chase Farlow-Davis, then saw Womack firing seven or eight shots into a yard, though they were unable to see who or what he was firing at.
The four defendants then got back into the car and Starkey said, “That young bull gonna check,” meaning die, according to the witness.
RIP to the young man

hope they all rot away
