The lack of media attention is staggering but not surprising. A man murders a whole family and it barely registers on the mainstream news.

In that thread about the EDM festival shooting thread, people told me i was taking attention away from Chicago. Seems like people on this site want black folks to be the face of gun-violence when the reality is everybody in America on this bang-bang shyt.

It's all just used as a coping mechanism. There could be shootings in Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and North Dakota, and the correlation would still be made.

but the facts are we make up the overwhelming majority of gun violence in this country.

these "white people do it too" arguments are just cope.

nearly half the deaths due to gun violence are black men.
thats not something to ignore.
