Salt used to be more valuable than gold. Wars were fought over salt.
Salt, for sure, is on your list.
Black pepper. It goes almost as many places as salt. It's very basic, but that's it's strength.
Garlic, onion, and peppers of all types are actual ingredients. I will just use the actual plant instead of the dried powder version. Also, instead of sugar I shall use honey.
Cinnamon. Gotta have something for advanced Cheerios (banana, fruit on the bottom yogurt container, lactose free milk, Cheerios, honey, cinnamon..). But it also works with French toast and other dishes with a sweet component.
And finally.
Oregano. I always get it on my Subway sub.
