4-year-old & 2-year-old found driving car, mom arrested
In Cincinnati, Ohio, police detained a 23-year-old mother after her 4-year-old child was reportedly found driving a car with a toddler as a passenger.
According to WXIX-TV, on the evening of Feb. 11, Cincinnati Police officers responded to a domestic incident on Winton Road, where they encountered a startling scene: a 4-year-old behind the wheel of a Honda Accord, with a 2-year-old child also seated inside the vehicle. The 4-year-old was reportedly observed driving and reversing the car within a parking space. Police intervened, bringing the vehicle to a halt and safely parking it.
The mother, identified as Theresa Smith, was subsequently arrested by Cincinnati Police on Feb. 12. She was taken into custody and booked into the Hamilton County Jail, facing two counts of endangering children. Smith's bond was set at $10,000.
