Where It’s Not Safe
All of my exes were my age or younger. I never really liked older men. Tried it once when I was in undergrad thinking older dudes would be more established and mature.
:pachaha:That isn’t always the case. He was in his late thirties and I was 20. To be honest, its not the age difference. It’s the lifestyle difference, the priorities and disposition.

At 20, I wanted to explore the world, do tons of shyt, see everything. At 38 he had been divorced, three kids, was really, really pessimistic and kinda a drag to be around.
You don’t want to be with someone who will bring you down.

Keep in mind I’ve seen the reverse happen too where older dudes will legit have their shyt together but the younger chick has kids, is toxic and just a drag.

It’s less about age and more about two people being in the same space and having similar mentality.
I know older men that are way more immature than dudes my age. I see a few every single day.

Alotta them hate when they see a young breh like me shine too. Slick comments. “Oh I bet u cant make the payments on that”....just bc when they were my age they couldnt. Prolly still cant.

Swear they know everything cuz there older too even when Im right.

Im not buying that older = mature. Life experiences make u mature not breathing longer. There’s 18/19 year olds who been raising their siblings/paying the bills for years and are more mature than alotta older folks.

you do realize most people in their 50's talk about the same shyt people in their 20's do?

The only difference is who they are talking about. A guy in his 50's talks about rap just like a guy in his 20's. One just talks about the furious five, and the other about the migos
Eh I feel differently than you. I spend a lot of time around young people. Their discussions are not the same as those in my age group. Which is how it should be; they haven’t had the same experience or time that we have.

Of course you will talk different stuff in some instances, but the majority of it is the same DEPENDING on who you are talking to. I've been around street people, and they talk the same shyt regardless of age. I've been around creative people, and its the same thing. I've been around thinkers, and its the same thing

Once you hit your 20's, its not about your age, its about your intelligence level. The difference is one can teach more then the other, in most instances.

This is true. I’ve dated older guys that were big babies/mommas boys like 35 years old with kids acting like kids themselves living off their parents money/inheritance. So older doesn’t always mean more mature.

this is a good conversation so lets keep going. i'm chilling right now.

Let me know what subjects that a 21 year old who is well read can't talk about to a 40 year old who is also well read?

Also, shouldn't it be a good thing to be with a man who is well established, and can teach her something? I thought that is what women wanted. Now, if he is controlling, and won't let her enjoy her youthful years, then he needs to leave her alone. I only agree with this if both people are full of energy, and wanting to live life, a grown man shouldn't force his chick in the house at her age

The only problem is if the dude is controlling her. Some dudes date younger women because they have more control. That gap is pretty big though

If he's a normal dude with his shyt together, what's there to hate?

Facts....age (legally) really is just a number. Went out wit a 30 something chick, soon as we sit to eat her convo about getting married and kids and her clock, (and I get it, it’s where she at in life) that isn’t the most mature way to entertain a convo wit a man you just met.....another 30 somethin I dealt wit completely self centered...and it mostly centers around her problems:snoop:.....immature as fukk.

Dealt wit some 20 somethings that are complete IG wannabe(s), livin they entire life on social media......ridiculous :snoop:

18 yo asked me to take her v card a lil while ago, I was hesitant but being a man, did it.....went great, she handled it like a pro and thanked me for makin it so classy....mature af:manny:(tho I still question should I have done that...:patrice:....still no fall out from it tho...all good)

Age really is a just number....life experience and how a person was raised is the key....

@Booksnrain you just happen to end up dealing with a possibly divorced single father of three jaded dude.......had he been childless and without the baggage promise that situation would have been different....well at least more entertaining.
