They're "white" in the sense that it's the closest bucket you can put them in.
A regular white American whose ancestors came on the Mayflower might be 98% to 100% European (British, Welsh, Scottish etc).
A white Latino in America might be 50% to 80% white. The 100% white Latinos are usually $$$$$ and stay back in their home country because they have no reason to immigrate here outside of the white Cubans.
They're white adjacent and trying to clear the hurdles the Irish, white Jews and Italians cleared 75 years ago. Everything comes down to Black n White. Asian is tricky because that includes wayyyyyyy too many cultures and doesn't fit in one box (Gandhi, Jackie Chan and Roman Reigns are all in the "Asian/Pacific Islander box.....so we can see why "Asian" makes no damn sense).
I couldn’t tell you a time where I even thought to or needed to ask a hispanic person a question let alone their opinion.

The most followed and influential culture in America by far is Black, and Hispanics hate that because they feel they're superior to Blacks and want to replace Blacks in America but can't compete culturally and have nothing to offer other than pale skin and dirt cheap hard labor.
Any Hispanic in NY I was ever around was smiling in my face and very hiphoppish but I got bad vibes from them and never trusted them one bit.
