Wife and I hit that this year, stock market has gone crazy and I know it's coming for a crash soon and won't last but was a good milestone

Single best college class outside my major I took was a finance class that covered the time value of money and that hit home. Soon as I had access to a retirement plan I started.

I read a lot of things and it says average American only has nnn in their retirement account. That might be true but many ppl have multiple accounts so you aren't getting a full picture.

There's a huge 401k bubble in progress, estimated 9 Trillion dollars.

You really think these financial companies plan on paying that much out to working class people? :russ: :pachaha:

You probably should cash most of it out and get some real assets. Leaving it all in the market is crazy.

Don't listen to that shyt. Keep stacking. Don't take financial advice from people 100% guaranteed having to work until they die.

I max my 401Ks, HSA and IRA.
This this this

If you’re able to, max it out. The vast majority of people are gonna need millions in their retirement account to actually retire and no longer work, but have very little saved

Agreed with others that I get a yearly look at my account and those returns are crazy. Way more than I expected it to be
