there's levels to these convos that nikkas on here aint built for

you always get the push back side ... and the nikkas in the game hoping shyt works and fighting for their life about it

get your money up and you dont have to worry about any of that shyt and
gza-you-need-to-diversity-you-bonds.gif
you already lost if you got all your eggs in one basket off rip.

Its no conspiracy that they wanna take your shyt away, you'd be completely ignorant to avoid that reality
when cats say :mjcry: this percent isnt enough, or that percentage isnt enough! You are just saying you dont have enough money to cover that. With a good advisor alone and 250k you can juggle 14-16k a month. If you own property value is already up 50%... thats not even counting the other baskets you can put your eggs in. If you are just hoping 1 thing works... you already know you are playing with fire. Just keep adding to what you believe in and growing. Certain shyt aint for everyone... if you wanna wait till your 65 then stick with that. If you take financial advice from random people you are always gonna take and hold an L .... nobody knows your situation but you. Most of these retirement predictions are based off you owning nothing and having thousands in debt. You tell me, how much you need to retire when you already own property and have no debt and minimum expenses?

I actually don't. I've had 4. cashed out of 1 and paid my house off. I'm totally debt free.

All im saying is get your money out. Because 60 million aren't going to be able to get all their money.

Okay, you put your money in your house and under your funky mattress and I’ll put mine in my 401-K.

I don’t know why you feel the need to make this thread every year…….unless you are questioning if you made the right decision.

there is money to be made right now actively following and trading mutual funds for your 401K. Going long and short the SPY depending on the levels.

People aint believing until they're seeing their own blood.

My 401k got ravaged in the 2008 economy crisis. After that I studied 401k issues and became a obsessed with scams and schemes. Now I know a good con when i see one.

It's actually brilliantly wicked. Your money is locked away, but you can see it. You have to wait til 65 to touch it. They're making a killing in it right now.

You need your money right now to make more money.

There was an interview by the guy who came up with the 401k idea. And he said it was hijacked and changed from it's original intent. I wish I could find that interview again but it sounded really shady.

And lots of companies have been caught raiding or stealing money from their employees 401k's. Who knows how much money is being stolen from these plans.

"Several major 2025–2026 lawsuits allege companies mismanaged 401(k) plans, resulting in hundreds of millions in potential losses for employees. Key cases include Dell ($318M alleged loss), Bloomberg ($70M+), Stifel ($42M–$134M), and Amazon (forfeiture misuse). These suits often allege breaches of ERISA fiduciary duties regarding high fees and poor fund performance".

I'm not a finance guy, but I don't think it's a scam. 401k's do hold tangible assets. However, it shouldn't be your only retirement vehicle and why would you want to pull it all out at once? I get that it's "fractional reserve" retirement, but unless the system collapses entirely there is no reason to do that and if the system collapses, money is useless anyway.

Definitely. i've seen it. MSNBC has done numerous documentary on it.

Companies get kickbacks for signing you up for 401k. That's why they only have a few options to select from.

They're not stealing, the fees are just hidden. People are so ignorant, they think these plans are free. Over a decade I ask everyone on here about their fees for their plan. They didn't

Elizabeth Warren has been hounding the financial sector about hidden fees since the 2008 collapse. She admit that the Financial Institutes got in her azz and she had to fall back.
