Is the best hip-hop album of 2017, and will go down as one of the top Southern hip-hop albums of all-time. It's better than anything that Jeezy, TIP, or Wayne has put out in terms of craftsmanship and vision (no disrespect). Hard to find songs like Price of Fame, Drinking Sessions, and Bury Me in Gold in any of their catalogs. I probably wouldn't any KRIT tape over Carter III on an all-time list, however I hope you can see what I am getting at here. 4eva is a Mighty Long Time celebrated KRIT's Dirty South roots while elevating the sound to modern heights, and KRIT is responsible for the musical direction of the tape.

Mark my words: KRIT's discography will age gracefully and he will experience a rejuvenation down the line when the Dirty South sound surfaces in the mainstream because hip-hop is cyclical.

I'm really surprised that Rate Your Music has 4eva is a Mighty Long Time as the #9 album of last year. KRIT definitely has the ear of the music enthusiast community. This guy is really just getting started still (hard to believe), and I don't worry about age because KRIT speaks from the heart and real life experiences. Life never runs out of subject matter to talk about if you are honest.

Can't wait to see what KRIT puts out next. He's a workhorse and delivers quality day in and day out.

Layup is :wow::mjcry:
:blessed::ohlawd: all at once. Love the Bone Thugs homage he paid by employing they flow.

I love how he's updated UGKs sound and made it palatable for this generation. I agree the brothas music will age well due to his emphasis on live instrumentation. Nikka music just got so much soul:mjcry:

I also like the slick metaphors on Confetti, dope beat switch halfway thru.
