I remember the joy when my parents allowed me to hook the NES to this big motherfukker for the first time

Think I had a 12 inch tv in my room for games :to:

Save some more money and cop the 65/77inch LG CX. It’ll last you throughout the entire coming generation.

Don't you have to worry about burn in with the OLED TVs?
Not as long as you don't do anything stupid, like leave a game on pause and walk off for several minutes. New ones are harder to burn, smart habits will keep it from ever happening.

But what about channels that have the station logo in the corner as they air?

Conventional wisdom is to avoid them for the first 100 to 200 hours to let the TV break in. I don't watch much TV, so that doesn't affect me. When I watch Twitch and the streamer has stuff like that, I go back to the menu or change streams every once in a while. Zero problems so far

Real talk. So buying a gaming monitor is not better than buying a tv? My son don’t like big tv’s so he was asking for a gaming monitor (27 inches) for the ps5 to get the best quality. What ya think?

Get the best 1080p you can get

1440 doesn’t get supported on ps5

And the 4K 120hz are damn near 1000$
