True. I went out and brought a M series vizio 4k tv. I still miss my Panny tho. I brought a part and tried to fix it but no bueno....I think I might still pay the 400

My boy just picked up one and his bragging ass asked me to come over to fix his Sweetfx preset on Witcher 3. I got over there and this dude is just on some "Man this looks so clear!" shyt.

Witcher 3 did look really good. The framerate was looking though(he has a GTX 970) but the game looked crisp. We then fired up the PS4 and the games looked really good. Whether it was due to upscaling or the TV just being good Idk but MK X, Driveclub, and COD BLOPS 3 looked amazing.

It was some $2000 Samsung 65" Smart UHD.

Samsung upscaling is amazing. It makes ps4 and X1 games look real good. I'm pretty happy with my Samsung 4K SUHD

yeah I wasn't sure if it was a placebo effect. MK X looked really crisp. I was super impressed.

I was telling the Homie at work that when I switch from the ps4 upstairs on the monitor to the one downstairs on the 4k it's a world of difference with sharpness, colors, the details and shyt that you notice.

Haven't watched any movies yet but I dont really watch movies or shows like that but my girl said she did and it looks like something out of a theater

You NEED to throw something on in 1080p fam. The upconversion is crazy. I watched the Matrix over the weekend My Sony is no joke. When we start getting 4K native blu ray content

man I was at best buy on black friday and my daughter was all in awe of the 4K picture. and the sales dude come over talkin bout how nice the tvs are. and I was agreeing, but told him that there was no content outside of a few netflix shows, and that even if game consoles had 4K output, I could justify the purchase. and dude was basically like and had absolutely no rebuttal for me. he said "if all our customers were this informed we'd never sell any of these tv's"

Oled is the best out but it ain't cheap. Most consumers are not smart enough to navigate the tech problems with new tech. I'm not jumping on the 4K wave yet.

To me the upconversion from 1080p to 4k is well worth it. It looks incredible. When native 4k blu ray movies drop it's a wrap

If you're in the market for a new TV it be dumb as hell to not get one if the price is right and you want a nice tv. It isn't like you're getting to use for a few months, when the content does become more widespread available you're already good vs buying a 1080p now and spending money trying to upgrade later and dump the tv you got a year or two ago

Samsung is putting all of their best features in their 4k tvs anyway
