They're not overlooked. They just had a ceiling.

When the records were dropping in real time, a lot of us loved them, back then. But they never had the kinda reach or push to expand their following. Killarmy just isn't the kinda group that's gonna work for most listeners. Even when they were active during Wu's prime, a lot of people just weren't interested.

I knew diehard Wu heads who didn't f*ck with Killarmy. They weren't for everybody.

They’re one of the ultimate true believer/nerd acts in rap. Canibus had the LL diss and multiple seminal features (4321, Desperados, etc) that a real rap fan will have run across. But you gotta be digging into the ancient scrolls to stumble across some Killarmy lol.


If you saw this video on BET or VH1 you were put on a government watch list lol. BET used to do those top ten vids from various rappers and I remember RZA played this.

That was a chapter I did read. 9th owes him a box. Hell, 75% of Wu Camp does...and most of the people he's encountered.

I find it fitting that Uey doesn't fukk with him at all.

Dom- can be very good but releases so much it dilutes his best stuff
9th- was decent but has only gotten worse over time
Kinetic- average and will constantly remind you himself his best verse was on Red Dawn
Shogun- bad
