Don't even mention any other Wu-related producers in this thread, just these 2.

Which is better?

True Master got....

Heaterz
Fish
Party Crasher
Slang Editorial
etc.

4th Disciple got.....

Nasty Immigrants
B.I.B.L.E.
If It's Alright With You
A Better Tomorrow
etc.

who got the better beats?

This is actually a real clever thread. One of the better recent threads in the booth. Lots of potential. As a production head I feel stupid for basically confusing the 2 and I never did a good job of knowing who did what. I'd always get them confused. If anything, hopefully this thread will educate my ass.

Now that I've checked up discographies to see who did what, definitely True Master. I forgot he did Fish, Tragedy, Abduction, and Ya'll Been Warned too. The thing about 4th is that B.I.B.L.E. is one of my favorite beats of all time, and Cash Still Rules/Scary Hours is maybe a top 5 on Forever IMO. But I still gotta go with True Master.

True probably had the higher apex, his A+ material is as good as it gets. 4th had the ability to produce full albums and it give it his own sound, once Killarmy came out he had perfected the lo-fi banger and was on fire by 98 where everything he did was great

4th is in my top 10 alltime, lack of clients eventually did him in but i still like his new stuff. True would make my top 25, wish he had grinded a little harder he turned down alot of high profile work once he got paid. Busta and Black Rob were the only big names he cashed in on

:salute: Meth's 2nd joint was underrated

It really was. having almost 10 skits on there really fukked it up. How many tracks were on that album? 28? 30? it was at least 28.

There's a great LP within that album. If they had just cut some of the silly skits and trimmed some fat it would've been fantastic.

Man Wu had the perfect stable of producers but didn't take advantage of it fully.

Love both. I might have to say that 4th is a lil bit more consistent but True's top beats ARE BANGERS. I mean, real punch you in your face, chunky Wu-bangers. So I'm gonna go with True.

i agree with you big big fan of 4th but one of my favorite beats is Heaterz
