i follow this brother on FB that does alot of lectures and stuff and he suppose to be tight with True. Remember True Master was doing lectures at one time. Anyways theres an old picture of him in i think Russia, and im wondering if that is new or what.

Yea, that Power situation was before the sexual assault case he caught in Harlem years ago. I haven't heard anything about True in years other than the unmastered compilation he dropped a few years back. This song is my sh!t:

Wu-Tang had some sick producers in their stable, but I would probably give it to 4th disciple, he is consistently very good. Where as true master is up and down but when it up though he right up there with RZA.

Both were dope, but I'd have to go with 4th by a small margin. I remember buying all those Wu/Wu-Fam cds and flipping through the booklet looking for 4th Disciple beats.

True Master got the str8-up head-nodders, 4th got that oft-kilter, sinister shyt. He's also ill with the ambience and sound effects. I always said they're just 'Classic RZA' split in two.

There is no way to pick one over the other. Honestly, there is no way I could tell what particular tracks they had without looking it up. I agree they are like 2 sides of RZA. All Wu related producers are crucial to the Wu sound. Kanye even said he was trying to make Wu type beats from the get go.

this beat couldn't be forged by hip-hop gods at their best....and Tru Master has a crate full of top tier beats. 4th Disciple probably more consistent but I don't care about that as much given that they are B-level producers for the Wu. That matters to me more for RZA tbh.
